South American rodent. The Cavies are usually a shade of brown without any tails. One of the large species is called and the Patagonian Cavy, the legs are long , it's a hair-like animal with a body length of about two and a half feet. Other forms are the Bolivia in Cavy, the Peruvian Cavy ( was domesticated by the Incas ) , the restless Cavy of Brazil, and also the Capybara. Cavies are hunted for food in South America. |
